General information about our bases
How many Water Gliss bases are there?
We have 11 nautical bases in the Var. We will soon be opening a 9ᵉ Water Glisse nautical base in Montauroux.
What are the opening hours of the watersports centers?
Our bases are generally open during the summer season. Some are open from April to October. In high season, they are open 7/7.
Are our watersports centers accessible to children and families?
Yes, of course. We have activities for young and old alike. Our spaces are designed to ensure the safety and supervision of children and adults alike.
Do I need to book in advance?
Reservations are recommended on the coast, especially in high season, to guarantee your place and make it easier for you to get on site. Reservations are not compulsory for the Aréna Plage water sports center, but they do give you faster access to the center.

What activities do you offer?
We offer a wide range of water sports activities, divided into 3 categories:
Sports and thrills;
Walks and water sports;
Leisure and comfort.
In these 3 categories, we have more than 31 different activities, from water skiing to accrobranche.
Do I need previous experience to take part in water sports activities?
No, our activities are open to everyone, from beginners to experts. Qualified instructors are on hand to guide you.
Is there an age limit for water sports?
It all depends on the activity. Some are accessible to children as young as 2, while others require parental permission or a minimum age or height.
Do you offer group activities?
Yes, we organize many activities for groups. In fact, it’s one of our specialities. Challenges, giant Olympics, timed races in the water park, pedal-boat or kayak relay races. We can accommodate groups of up to 1,500 people.
Is the equipment supplied?
Yes, all the equipment you need is provided by our instructors. We provide you with life jackets, snorkels, masks, etc.
Organized events
What types of events are organized at your watersports centers?
We organize family events and corporate days.
Is it possible to hold a private event on a nautical base?
Yes, it is possible to privatize certain areas of a nautical base for a birthday, wedding or company seminar. Contact our team for a personalized quote.
Is catering included in event organization?
Yes. Depending on your wishes, you can privatize a terrace, a dining room or a picnic area.
Safety and equipment
What safety measures are in place?
All our activities are supervised by professionals and comply with strict safety standards. Protective equipment is provided.
Do I need to be able to swim to take part in activities?
You don’t need to know how to swim. Life jackets are compulsory and provided for your safety.
Do you supply the necessary equipment?
Yes, we supply all the equipment you need, including wetsuits, life jackets and specific accessories for the activity you choose.
Can children take part in water sports activities?
Yes, some activities are specially designed for children aged 2 to 8.
Practical information
Is there on-site parking?
Yes, each base has a large free parking lot.
Is there a catering area on site?
Some bases have a snack bar or restaurant. You can also bring your own picnic and reserve a paillote or carbet.
